Arkansas Children’s Week got off to a great start for the children of ROC – Making Rainbows in Hope. The theme for the week is “Go Outdoors – Play and Explore!”. On Monday, the kids got their day started with some dancing followed by a visit from representatives of the Girl Scouts, who assisted the kids in making “Friendship bracelets”. Day Two began with some excitement as the famous “Minions” stopped in the cafeteria to dance for the kids. The group was later treated to “Mad Scientist” Rachel Simington, who performed experiments for the captivated kiddos. More fun is planned for the remainder of the week and culminated with a block party on Friday.
